Fete's past and  current heritage
displayed for all to see!!!
This is another of those "In Between" blogs that has its own special place in Fete's history.

In September last Year, I entered Fete into the Blessing of the Fleet for the Gold Coast Region. The event was held at the SYC and and as you will see was a great day for all concerned.
Onboard was a motley crew of good friends and the theme for the day was Jimmy Buffett & having a great time!!!

One of the best things to come out of the day was Ian (Grumpy) Knight, Outward Bound II, took untold pics of the days happenings and afterwards, his lovely wife Bromwyn, pieced together a video which I have had someone upload to Youtube for me.
This Link is below with Bromwyn"s smiling face on it - Enjoy the music and pics but I must warn you it runs for approx 12 minutes........

I have been told that every picture tells a story -

so I think I will let them & the above link tell the rest...

Rockin Roll Mickie Lawler, Bromwyn, The Doc and Mike Daly.

Karen (Sis) Macdonald, Colleen Fennel, Tony Maas at rear with cowboy hat, Ian (Russell) Waymouth with plastic Jimmy Buffett guitar, me, Ian (Grumpy) Knight, Rockin Rollin Mickie Lawler on Keyboards
& Bromwyn Knight.

We arrived home early as we were the 5th or 6th boat to pass the pastor for the blessing and eventually won second prize in the fleet, just for going out and having fun.

But the fun didn't stop there - we later gathered in the Club

to have a wonderful "Liquid" evening.

My thanks go out to all aboard that day and for the organisers.
