As the closest moon to earth in the last 800 years or so (or is it for the next 800+ years?), rises over the marina on a warm summers night, it's time to reflect on what's happened since my return from the last trip with Russell.
All repairs that need to be done, from the last trip, have been completed. I have also added 80m of new anchor chain and purchased two more "Removable" solar panels as you can see here at right. These simply zip of for storage whilst moving. Now we should be totally self sufficient for the next trip.
There have been some unbelievable sunsets since our return, and here are two of the best pics just to give you an idea.
Apart from that, Food has been my favorite pastime since returning and learning new culinary skills and flavors, so I will show you an assortment of my recent favorites:
Left: Chicken Stroganoff
Right: Caprice Chicken
Chicken Fettucine with Basil, Lemon & Garlic Butter |
Left: My own Mushroom, Peperoni, Bacon, & Tomato Pizza - yum!!!
Right: Honey mustard Chicken Stew
Pepper Pork, veg & Basil stir-fry
|
Paprika Chicken & Peppers with Prosciutto
& Sage garlic bread, with a Buddy or 2
|
Pappardelle with veal meatballs in white wine sauce |
These are a few of the lovely recipes that I have cooked since being back on the Gold Coast and they were delicious. I hope to continue my cooking experiments thru my travels and will bring you a selection with each blog.
And as you can see from the clip above, even the dolphins like eating here. These guys stayed around the marina for a couple of weeks.
Wow!!!! Yummo dishes - Shaz
